With 2022 only weeks away, Harold Washington College students and staff shared their resolutions for the new year.

“I don’t really do resolutions. I just want to be better than last year,” said Leo Powers.

“I’m a musician, so go to more jam sessions and get more out there as a musician,” said Nate Mohill.

“To get my priorities in order,” said Ryan Prodoehl.

“I want to put myself out there more with my singing. I want to do more to follow my dreams,” said Natalia Perea.

“I want to find a place with good anchovy pizza,” said Samuel Nelson.

“My resolution this year is to read more books for fun to expand my horizons,” said Professor Jennifer Armendarez.

“[G]et healthy, be healthy and stay healthy in mind, body and spirit. I thought I was doing well during the pandemic/ shut down. As this season is constantly changing and evolving I realized I have neglected myself. 2022 will be year of self care. I have never really embarked on a true journey of such or even thought about it. I am excited what the year will bring,” said Ashley Dearborn.

“My resolution is to remember to be grateful for everything I have!” said Joelle Mendoza.
